Many thanks to Melody Kellar from First State Bank; Joann Oates from First National Bank; Julie Whittenburg from Peoples State Bank and Linda Bodiford from BBVA Compass Bank for the Learning Lunch on “Fighting Back Against Identity Theft / Deter.Detect.Defend” which was held April 5th at the Chamber office.
Melody, Joann, Julie, & Linda provided information on how you can avoid fraud, practices for safer computing, fighting back against identity theft and what to do if your identity is stolen. They also explained what the banks in the community are doing to help secure our banking information as well.
